Jackson Walters

I'm a mathematician and computer programmer.

I received a math PhD from Boston University in '19 where I taught and did research related to the geometry of networks and factorization algebras.

I primarily code in Python, Rust. I'm translating my skills to C. I'm also familiar with basic full-stack web development (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, pgSQL).

I've recently implemented a few lattice-based, post-quantum cryptography schemes (non-production) in Rust [crates: ring-lwe, module-lwe, mlkem-fips203].

I contribute to open-source projects such as SageMath. In particular, the representation theory of the symmetric group over finite fields and number fields.

I'm a certified machine learning professional, and have experience with natural language processing.
